Pathways to Becoming an AUSA 2024

Description

Are you interested in applying to become a federal prosecutor? Are you looking for insights into what it takes to succeed in the role? Are you wondering what, exactly, criminal and civil AUSAs do? Please join us for a free program open to FBC members and non-members featuring executive, criminal, and civil AUSAs from the U.S. Attorney’s Offices for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey. The panelists will discuss what it means to be an AUSA and how to seek out the best experiences to become one. Special emphasis will be placed on addressing attorneys who may be less familiar with the role of, and paths to becoming, AUSAs. A cocktail reception will follow where attendees can speak with current and former members of all three U.S. Attorney’s Offices.
